Morton Dance Recital

June 14th at 6:30 p.m.

Tickets:  $8 adult, $6 children & seniors

Come join us for an evening of dance to the Billbord's top hits.  Music, dance and fun - come support your local dancers!  Watch children ages 3 to 18 years old perform, from beginning dancers to advanced. Enjoy ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop and some vocalist.  Tickets will be available at the door. 

Summer Drama Camp

Day Camp:  June 24-July 13, Monday-Friday, 12:00-4:00 p.m.

Show:  July 12, at 7 p.m. &  July 13 at 2 p.m.

Day Camp Cost :  $100 (scholarships available)

Join us for a rockin summer camp for kids ages 6 to 18 where you will have a rockin time learning about theater arts including acting, improve, dance, stagecraft, music, lights and sounds, costumes.  The program culminates in two public performances of "The Rockin' Tale of Snow White" in July.  Download the registration form or contact Elysa Ray at puzziray@gmail.com or 360-584-6028.


OnStage Children's Theatre Education Program

This exciting program serves under the umbrella of The Fire Mountain Arts Council.  Under the direction of Marcia Ericksen, many children have participated in OnStage events at the Roxy Theater to learn about the theater and what it means to be on stage.  Learn more about the Ladies of the OnStage Children's Program.

 

Classes Offered Through Centralia College East

Foreign Film Festival

Beginning April 5, Fridays from 11:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Come and watch films from all over the world and stay afterwards for instructor-led discussions. Offered once again through Centralia College East, the class is taught by Vann Cantin. The fee is $51. Register in person at Centralia College East or by phone, 360-496-5022. 

Zumba!

Beginning April 2nd, Tuesdays from 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at the Tiller Art Center

Join us for Zumba - an exhilarating, effective, easy-to-follow, Latin-inspired, calorie-burning dance/fitness class. All levels of fitness are encouraged to participate. Offered through Centralia College East, the class is taught by Megan Ruiz.  The fee is $35. Register in person at Centralia College East or by phone, 360-496-5022.

Belly Dance Classes

Wednesdays 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Eatonville Dance Classes at the Tiller Arts Center

Creative movement - ages 3 to 4
Wednesday: 2:30 to 3:00
This class is an introduction to basic dance. It teaches children basic ballet and jazz movements. They will learn coordination and flexibility. Cost is 25.00 per month.

Ballet & jazz combo class - ages 5 to 7
Wednesday: 3:00 to 4:00
This class teaches basic ballet bar work, positions, jazz combo and stretches. Cost is 35.00 per month.

Jazz and hip-hop combo class - ages 8 to 11
Wednesday: 4:00 to 5:00
This class will teach the newest hip-hop styles to upbeat, fun music. They will learn flexibility and self-discipline. Cost is 35.00 per month.

Ballet class - ages 12 and up
Wednesday: 5:00 to 6:00
This will be a faster paced class. Teens will learn ballet bar work along with center floor exercises, and stretches. Cost is 35.00 per month.

Jazz and Musical Theater - ages 12 and up
Wednesday: 6:00 to 7:00
Musical theatre is a form of theatre combining music, songs, and dance. The emotional content is communicated through the words, music, movement and technical aspects of the entertainment as an integrated whole. Cost is 35.00 per month.
